Keynote Speaker

This year’s keynote speaker will be Brandon Igdalsky, President & CEO, Pocono Raceway.

Brandon IgdalskyBrandon Igdalsky, grandson of Pocono Raceway founders Dr. Joseph and Dr. Rose Mattioli, was named President of Pocono Raceway in July of 2007. In August 2011, Dr. Mattioli retired from the CEO position and named his eldest grandson President & CEO of Pocono Raceway.

Prior to his present position, Igdalsky worked and observed every aspect of the operation of Pocono Raceway since he was thirteen years old. He started off in the sanitation department and worked in the facilities sewer plant before making the rounds to all other departments within the organization. Over the course of the years his duties included maintenance, track services, operations, concessions, sales and marketing.

Pocono-RacewayIn 2008, Brandon spearheaded a move that would make Pocono Raceway a global leader in renewable energy. After two years of negotiations, permits and contracts, ground was broken in May of 2010 for what would become the largest solar powered sports facility in the world. The three megawatt Pocono Raceway Solar Farm, consisting of 39,960 American made ground-mount photovoltaic cells on 25 acres of Raceway property, was commissioned on August 25, 2010. It has become the primary electric energy source for the Raceway.

Brandon serves on multiple boards including Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau Executive Board, Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department Commission, PA Tourism Partnership, Green Sports Alliance, Rail Riders Advisory Board, as well as a member of the YPO, and serves on their Family Business Network Executive Board.

Brandon and his wife, Suzanne are proud parents of twin daughters Madison and Mackenzie.
