NEPA Alliance Holds Annual Dinner at The Convention Center at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance held its Annual Dinner on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at The Convention Center at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Wilkes-Barre, PA. The dinner was attended by over 300 business and community leaders from around the region.

During the dinner, NEPA presented the NEPA Alliance Regional Leadership Award. The award is presented to an agency, group or individual demonstrating a significant contribution to regional growth, development or cooperation within the seven county NEPA region. This year’s award recipient was Anna Cervenak for her years of service to NEPA Alliance and Northeast Pennsylvania.

The dinner’s keynote address was presented by Mike Bean, President of Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Mr. Bean outlined his strategy for utilizing tourist dollars, future amenities and to promote the region as a family entertainment destination for all seasons at the Mohegan facilities.
