The NEPA Alliance extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Thomas Pellegrini.

Thomas Pellegrini, 71, a lifelong resident of Exeter, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.

From a young age, Tom demonstrated a strong work ethic. He graduated from King’s College in 1975 with a degree in American government and politics.

Following his graduation, Tom joined the NEPA Alliance. He rose to the role of Vice President of Business Development Services. He was a consummate professional, always dedicated to assisting his clients and contributing to the region’s growth. Known for his gentlemanly demeanor, Tom was a kind and helpful individual deeply respected by all.

After a distinguished career spanning four decades, Tom retired from the NEPA Alliance in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service to the Northeastern Pennsylvania community.

Tom assisted the seven Northeastern Pennsylvania counties of Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne by helping secure millions of dollars of grant and loan assistance through NEPA Alliance programs. “Northeastern PA is a better place because of Tom Pellegrini.  Both because he lived and loved our region and because of the millions of dollars he helped bring to our communities and businesses,” said Jeffrey Box, President & CEO of NEPA Alliance.

Tom was a remarkable individual: a man of strong faith, humility, unwavering kindness, and selfless service. He was a devoted Penn State fan and a loving family man.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
