Child Development Council EDA Check PresentationNEPA Alliance and the Economic Development Administration (EDA) presented Child Development Council of NEPA with a loan in the amount of $150,000 for working capital, which was used for operational expenses needed due to the PA state budget impasse.

Child Development Council, which was established in 1972, is a private, non-profit child care organization serving over 1,200 children annually (from 6 weeks to 12 years old) for communities of Luzerne County in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Child Development Council child care centers are licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and follow all regulations set forth.
