Hawk Mountain Labs Check PresentationNEPA Alliance presents USDA Rural Development and Economic Development Administration (EDA) small business loan funds of $195,000 to Hawk Mountains Labs (HML).

Hawk Mountain Labs received financing from the USDA Rural Development and the Tri-District Loan Fund, capitalized by the Economic Development Administration Loan Fund, to purchase machinery and equipment. These loan funds are managed by NEPA Alliance in our region. This funding will allow Hawk Mountain Labs to expand their business and establish new jobs. These loans were part of an overall funding package that included the NEPA Alliance and CAN DO, Inc.

Hawk Mountain Labs is an independent, privately owned analytical laboratory. They continue to service the coal industry, but their testing initiatives have changed by diversifying into field and laboratory services to include Geo Technical support with the testing of soil, materials and concrete. Moving forward, they look to expand into new opportunities that are developing as a result of the activity in and surrounding the natural gas markets in the Marcellus and Utica Shale Regions.
