The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA) and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Metropolitan Planning Organization (NEPA MPO) are pleased to present the draft 2015-2018 Transportation Improvement Program and related documents for public review and comment.  These documents include the 2015-2018 TIP including highway, bridge and transit project listings; TIP administrative procedures; transit financial capacity reports; air quality conformity analysis; environmental justice analysis determination; and related policy documents.

These documents concern proposed highway, bridge and transit projects for Carbon, Monroe, Pike, and Schuylkill Counties for the upcoming four-year TIP which will become effective on October 1, 2014.  TIP documentation will be available for public review from June 12, 2014 through 10:00 AM on July 15, 2014 on NEPA Alliance’s website at https://nepa-alliance.org/transportation/transportation-improvement-program-tip/ and at various locations throughout the region.

A public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 4:30 PM at the Monroe County Transportation Authority located at 134 MCTA Drive, Swiftwater, PA and on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 9:30 AM at the Junior Achievement of NEPA located at 1122 Oak Street, Pittston, PA to receive public testimony on these documents.  Those interested in providing testimony at a hearing are requested to contact Kate McMahon one week prior to the hearing at (570) 655-5581 or kmcmahon@nepa-alliance.org to register and to be placed on the hearing agenda.  Those unable to attend may provide written testimony by sending comments to the NEPA Alliance office at 1151 Oak Street, Pittston, PA 18640.  Written testimony must be received by 12:00 PM on July 14, 2014.
