Harrold’s Pharmacy received two NEPA loans in the amount of $175,000 from the Economic Development Administration (NEPA-RLF) Loan Fund and $175,000 from the Appalachian Regional Commission Loan Fund for machinery, equipment, furniture and fixtures to open their new state of the art pharmacy. These are two (2) of the eleven (11) economic development loan programs administered by NEPA Alliance. Other financing in the project includes bank financing for $1,500,000 and an equity injection of $350,000.
Harrold’s Pharmacy is a third generation full service pharmacy owned and operated by Bruce Lefkowitz. They have been in business for 65 years in Wilkes-Barre. It was founded in 1947 by the current owner’s grandfather, Harold Lefkowitz.
