Geographic Information System (GIS)
Geographic Information System (GIS) is a method for analyzing, sharing and presenting data through a number of formats, including computer generated maps. The Transportation Division is able to utilize GIS to analyze transportation patterns, assess needs and visually depict projects throughout the region.
