The Northeastern Pennsylvania Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center (NCAC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 affiliate agency of NEPA providing assistance to nonprofit organizations and communities in Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne Counties.
NCAC Mission Statement
The mission of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center (NCAC) is to promote and encourage community development by increasing the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations, enhancing the resource delivery of philanthropic foundations, strengthening the role of the region's cultural and social service sectors and capitalizing upon economic opportunities for the citizenry of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Foundation Center Cooperating Collection
As a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center, NCAC is committed to helping nonprofits and community organizations find funding opportunities. Founded in 1956, the Foundation Center is the nation's leading authority on philanthropy. Their mission is to strengthen the nonprofit sector by advancing knowledge about U.S. philanthropy. As a Cooperating Collection, NCAC houses the Foundation Directory Online Premium Edition and a core collection of print resources from the Foundation Center.
