NCAC PROGRAMS
Through partnerships with the Foundation Center
and the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit
Organizations, NCAC has compiled a suite of
unique services, workshops and resources that have
assisted hundreds of nonprofits in our region to
meet and exceed their goals.
- Community Awards: The NCAC Community Awards program was created to highlight many of the programs and projects that are making a positive impact on the Northeastern PA community. Many local organizations do not receive the recognition they deserve for their hard work and dedication. The Community Awards are an opportunity to highlight their achievements and are held in the spring of each year. Award categories include Community Development/Improvement, Arts & Culture, Environmental Action/Animal Welfare, Health & Human Services, Children & Youth and Education.
- Community Enterprise Development Program: The NCAC partners with the NEPA Alliance to provide a microloan program for nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and small businesses operating in distressed communities. The microloan program extends loans to help nonprofit organizations and small businesses meet market opportunities.
- Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center (NCAC):
