This seminar, presented by Kurt Bauman, NEPA Alliance, is intended to introduce the basics as well as the nuances of effective grant preparation and submission strategies. Participation in this seminar offers an opportunity to learn new approaches in grant writing and how to increase your chances of getting funded. Additionally, the participants will learn how to research and identify eligible private and government funding sources through a variety of websites and online tools, including the Foundation Center's Online Directory. The seminar is designed for community leaders, nonprofit managers and directors, grantwriters, development directors, volunteers, government officials, community relations officers, funders and foundation representatives.
According to Laura Goss, Executive Director, Pocono Arts Council, "As a member of NCAC, PoconoArts has received a variety of services that have increased our effectiveness and efficiency thus enabling us to further advance our mission. NCAC provides us with customized funding profiles based on our annual needs which minimizes our need for research and allows us to concentrate on our programs and services."
