Kate Feissner

Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance

Katherine Feissner recently joined the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance as a Government Services Specialist within the Community and Government Services Division.  She comes to NEPA after serving three years as Executive Director of Eastern Middle Anthracite Region Recovery, Inc. in the Hazleton Area. 

Kate graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with honors from King’s College, earning a BA in Political Science.  She was the Recipient of the Temple B’nai B’rith Award for Excellence in Public Administration in 2004 and has served as the former Secretary of the Freeland Business and Development Authority.  Kate has also served as the Class of 2004 Chairperson for the King’s College Alumni Phonathon.  She is currently participating in Leadership Hazleton (Class of 07/08), where she is a member of the Local Government programming group.  Kate also serves as a volunteer for Eastern Pennsylvania Coalition for Abandoned Mine Reclamation (EPCAMR). 

She is originally from Freeland, PA and now resides in the Wilkes-Barre Area.  Kate enjoys reading, football, politics and spending time with family.
