NEPA's International Trade Development Program-NEPA offers assistance to companies interested in learning how to effectively implement an exporting plan for their businesses through the Team Pennsylvania Export Network - Northeast Region. For businesses already involved in international export, the Alliance administers a number of export promotions programs in Northeastern Pennsylvania on behalf of the PA Department of Community and Economic Development. The State of Pennsylvania maintains International Trade Offices in many countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Their purpose is to channel information about the business purchasing needs and economic climate in various countries back to Pennsylvania -- in a sense, literally bringing the world at our doorstep! This aggressive and intimate knowledge of international markets provides Pennsylvania exporters with a decisive advantage in the global economy. International Trade Development program staff can provide one-to-one counseling on export feasibility and technical issues to both new to export and existing export companies alike to help better position your business and product/services. A newsletter called the International Business Communiqué is available and provides regular updates of program services and activities.
