Government Contracting Assistance
Welcome to the PTAC
The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance is the only PTAC covering Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill & Wayne counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The center has been in existence for over twenty-five years. The PTAC serves as a liaison to help local companies, usually small businesses increase sales and growth for our regional economy. NEPA’s PTAC staff provides marketing and technical assistance to qualified, competitive companies who wish to bid on government contracts and also works with government agencies to help locate suppliers in the region. The tools available from NEPA’s PTAC can help companies market their products and qualify their business to be a leading contender in winning a contract with a local, state or federal agency.
The purpose is to generate employment and improve the general economic condition of the region by assisting Northeastern Pennsylvania companies with local, state and federal government contracts. We provide procurement technical assistance by offering no-fee and confidential counseling on selling your products and/or services to the appropriate local, state or federal government agency.
The goals of the PTAC are to educate businesses on government contracting procedures, generate sales and jobs for Northeastern Pennsylvania businesses and improve the business climate and economic development in the NEPA Alliance seven-county coverage area.
The process of selling to the government on all levels can be quite confusing and sometimes overwhelming so let the NEPA Alliance PTAC start you on your way to gain access to one of the world’s largest markets!
For more information on government contracting see our Business services section or for personal and confidential assistance, please contact Karen Ostroskie, PTAC Program Manager, Frank Migneco, PTAC Program Specialist or Paula Terpak, PTAC Specialist or call NEPA Alliance at (570) 655-5581.
