Judith Doblix

   Accounting Specialist
      Administrative Services

Judith Doblix

With an impressive professional history and extensive educational background in business finance, Judith Doblix is able to keep NEPA programs on-track, on time and financially accurate. This is important to the businesses, communities and governments of Northeast Pennsylvania because without timely and accurate accounting, many of the expansion and growth services NEPA offers may not exist.

Starting as the organization's Accountant in 1997, Judy's responsibilities include monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts, monthly contract invoicing and preparation of various reports for state and federal agencies.

Prior to joining the NEPA team, Judy was employed with prominent regional financial organizations, including Corestates Bank in Pittston as a Controller/Internal Auditor, Mortgage Underwriter and Credit Analyst (1984 to 1996) and Parente, Randolph, Orlando, Carey & Associates of Wilkes-Barre as a Senior Accountant (1982 to 1984).

Judy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude with a concentration in Accounting from Wilkes University in 1982 and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration on Accounting and Finance in 1986.

"My contributions in my work at NEPA give me a great sense of satisfaction in that I am able to see beyond the ledgers and bottom-line numbers," said Judy. "Knowing that the work I do to help keep NEPA programs financially on-track can contribute to the overall growth, expansion and healthy economic development of the region is very rewarding. When final reports are compiled that indicate jobs have been supported, businesses expanded or communities recognized for outstanding achievement, I feel very good about what I do for NEPA."

Judy enjoys volunteering her time to community youth programs, which include Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Boy Scout Committee Member for Troop 166, CCD Teacher for St. Aloysius Church and parent volunteer for several school activities.

Judy is a life-long resident of Hanover Township, where she still resides with her husband, Edward, and son, Jonathan (age 15).

She enjoys spending her down-time with her husband and son as well as reading and traveling, whenever possible.
