John Wozniak
Business Finance Manager
Enterprise Development Division
Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance

Businesses seeking financing for growth and expansion projects turn to John Wozniak. He has served as the Manager for NEPA's Business Finance Center for the past 12 years.

John's educational background and many years of experience offer valuable insights when consulting with businesses on achieving financing for their expansion projects. Thanks to his help, many businesses have received low-interest loans to expand their operations, better serve their customers and realize their dreams of owning and operating a successful business in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

John received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Math from King's College, his Master of Business (MBA) Degree in Economics from the University of Scranton, worked to achieve additional Post Graduate credits in Public Administration and is Certified by the National Development Council as an Economic Development Finance Professional. In addition to working at NEPA as the Business Finance Center Program Manager, John has worked within the Finance Program for over eighteen years and prior to that he was the Regional Energy Center Program Manager and a Research Analyst.

John is a volunteer member of the National Ski Patrol - Sno Mountain Chapter, First Aid Instructor for the Winter Emergency Care (WEC) Program and is certified in CPR and First Aid.

John knows that each loan he successfully completes translates into potential profits to businesses. In a best-case scenario, these loans have the potential to support new jobs for Northeastern Pennsylvania's workforce. "I am glad to assist businesses by providing financing for both new and expanding companies," he stated. "While there are many challenges to the position, the rewards offset these challenges. It is very satisfying to realize that these companies will be creating additional employment opportunities for residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania."

When he isn't helping businesses, John can be found on the golf course greens or skiing down a snowy mountain. John is both an avid golfer and enjoys volunteering with the Ski Patrol at Sno Mountain during the winter months.
