Living in West Pittston for most of her life and working for NEPA for the past 27 years, one thing Louise Tracy knows is people. Recently named the receptionist in January 2002, Louise served as the machine specialist and supply purchaser of EDCNP for 25 years.

"I enjoy greeting people who visit and call in. Being the receptionist gives me the first opportunity to make clients and visitors feel good about coming to NEPA for assistance and being our partner," Louise stated. The dedicated work ethic, professional attitude and comforting demeanor she demonstrates, makes her greatly appreciated by internal staff and visitors.

By insuring that each of NEPA's guests has a positive experience, Louise provides service with a smile. Her comprehensive knowledge of the programs and staff helps put visitors in immediate contact with someone that can directly offer assistance. Louise continues to express professionalism while at her clerical and purchasing duties. However, her specialty remains trying to accommodate any request a visitor may have.

Louise believes building internal and external relationships are very important to the vitality of the organization. "I had the opportunity to meet and build many professional and personal friendships in my 27 years with the organization," Louise noted. " I look forward to being a part of NEPA's continued success."

In recognition to her hard work and dedication, Louise was named "NEPA's Employee of the Quarter" for December 2002.

In her spare time, Louise enjoys spending time with her 2 year-old great nephew, traveling to Atlantic City and shopping from QVC.
