Suzanne Slussar joined the Marketing and Communications Divison of the NEPA team in March 2005. As Marketing & Communications Manager, Suzanne is helping to promote the programs, services and events of NEPA to regional businesses, communities and local governments.

She graduated from Marywood College with a BA in Communications, specializing in Public Relations and Radio/Television. Suzanne possesses over 22 years experience in the communications industry including radio and television broadcasting, media/community/public relations, marketing, volunteer leadership and special events. Suzanne also had an excellent opportunity to join the 2002 Rotary International Group Study Exchange Team to England and Wales to help increase awareness of the United States, specifically Pennsylvania through educational/vocational visits and to promote international understanding of both countries.

She is a graduate of Leadership Lackawanna and currently serves as Alumni Council Chairperson. She is a member of the NEPA Ad Club, the Arthritis Foundation Board of Directors and the Scranton Business & Professional Women's Club (BPW).

As for her hopes in her position as Marketing & Communications Manager with NEPA, Suzanne stated, "I am very excited about joining NEPA. I am a strong believer in community and team efforts and by working together, we can accomplish so much and make a difference in the NEPA environment. I look forward to my new endeavors."

Through her work and volunteer experiences, she is afforded the opportunity to meet new people and explore new possibilities, which is very rewarding.
