Debbie Phillips

Debbie received her B.S. from Albright College in Reading, PA where she studied International Business and History. After graduating she enjoyed the opportunity to work with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture in Washington D.C. and the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. Her economic and social development and international interests led her to join the U.S. Peace Corps in 2003. From 2003 to 2005 Debbie served as a small business advisor and project manager to an orphan assistance program in Dago Village, Kenya. There she taught business skills to women's groups, created and implemented community development programs, and even found time to place 3rd in the International Camel Derby in 2004.
After some happy travels around the world, Debbie joined the NEPA Alliance team in October 2006 assisting the International Program Manager, Michael Horvath, in bringing export assistance to the region's businesses. She welcome's the new challenges and opportunities that await her at NEPA and looks forward to meeting and working with local businesses
Debbie calls Auburn, Schuylkill County home and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves the outdoors and travel and although she doesn't currently golf, she really thinks it sounds like fun.
