Tom is the Vice President of NEPA's Enterprise Development Division. With nearly 26 years experience at this organization, Tom is dedicated to providing assistance to small businesses in search of loans, government contract bids, export opportunities, B2B networking and professional business mentors. Tom believes "Northeastern Pennsylvania is a truly wonderful place to live and raise a family. A sense of economic momentum has been built through the work of many organizations that needs to be sustained and enhanced. I have no doubt that is what will occur."
A hardworking and dedicated staff is what Tom credits for the success of these programs. The Enterprise Development team consists of 4 Program Managers, 3 Program Specialists and a Division Assistant. Tom added, "I am fortunate to be surrounded by very good people who are personally committed to the ideas of the Alliance and strive hard to be effective and responsive to the needs and opportunities of our customers at all levels."
Tom holds a Bachelor's of Art Degree in Government and Politics from King's College and he has also studied additional course work in Business Administration. He has had memberships with the Luzerne County Business Incubator Center Advisory Board, Scranton/Lackawanna Labor Management Council Board and has served as the Campaign Coordinator of the United Way.
Residing in Exeter with his wife, and three children, Tom is an avid sports fan. For seven years he has enjoyed coaching various basketball leagues and the Exeter Lions Little League at all levels. Although Tom's profession lies in Economic Development, his dream job would be to play/coach the New York Yankees, Penn State Football or North Carolina Basketball.
