Business Development Manager and Entrepreneurial Network Initiative (ENI) Regional Coordinator for the Northeast Region, Karen Ostroskie continues to work diligently to offer assistance for small businesses. Karen administers a website, PABizHelp that provides entrepreneurs with the guidance they need to start and grow their business in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Being an employee of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance for 18 years has given Karen the opportunity to network with various business professionals and people in the community who have an interest in starting-up their own businesses and competing for government contracts. Helping to create, implement and manage various business development programs has been an interesting challenge for Karen. The Entrepreneurial Network and the Procurement Technical Assistance Programs provides entrepreneurs and small businesses in the region extensive knowledge of regional business resources and the government marketplace. Working with and watching businesses start and grow has been a very rewarding endeavor.


As time permits, Karen's hobbies include cooking, gardening and interior decorating. Spending an abundance of time with her four children keeps her busy, it is her favorite part of a day.
