Denise McLaud

Denise McLaud joined NEPA in October 2006 as the Marketing and Web Development Specialist. She is a graduate of Penn State Worthington Scranton Campus with an Associates Degree in Information Systems Technology with a focus on User-Centered Design of Systems. After graduating she found work with Friendship House as a Technical Support Analyst. She has developed websites and databases for several non-profits in the area including EOTC and Friendship House.
Denise has a diverse work history including a career as a Carpenter. Her first partial apprenticeship was served with The United Steelworkers as a bridge carpenter and another was completed with the United Brotherhood of Carpenter's Local 261, where she received her Journeyman's Certificate and actively participated for many years.
She enjoys singing in the church choir, cooking, a new interest in running and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
"I look forward to learning how to use software applications as a tool for business and government to be more effective and user-friendly." She is excited to be here at NEPA and adding a more meaningful marketing focus to her background.
