Denise McLaud

Denise McLaud joined NEPA in October 2006 as the Marketing and Web Development Specialist. She is a graduate of Penn State Worthington Scranton Campus with an Associates Degree in Information Systems Technology with a focus on User-Centered Design of Systems. After graduating she found work with Friendship House as a Technical Support Analyst. She has developed websites and databases for several non-profits in the area including EOTC and Friendship House.
Denise has a diverse work history including a career as a Carpenter. Her first partial apprenticeship was served with The United Steelworkers as a bridge carpenter and another was completed with the United Brotherhood of Carpenter's Local 261, where she received her Journeyman's Certificate and actively participated for many years.
She enjoys cooking, a new interest in running and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
"I am very interested in learning how to utilize software applications as a tool for increasing business, knowledge and support. I believe the strongest way to accomplish this is to make websites more cost-effective and user-friendly." She is excited to be a part of NEPA and adding a more meaningful marketing focus to her background.
