With NEPA's dedicated and passionate staff, the organization continues to provide excellent business, government and community assistance throughout the region. Kevin Kwiatek, Accounting Specialist in the Administrative Services Division ensures all programs have accurate financial support to be a complete success.
Starting at NEPA in 2000, Kevin's responsibilities include outreach to NEPA investors, maintaining monthly ledger accounts, monthly contract invoicing and preparation of various reports for state and federal agencies.
"Interacting with NEPA's investors gives me the opportunity to appreciate the outstanding programs NEPA provides to their clients on a very different level. Investors' attitudes are so positive, knowing the contributions they made may assist businesses in expansion or retain jobs in the region. I admire investors for their passion and involvement in making the region prosperous. I also feel that my duties at NEPA allow me to contribute to the overall enhancements of the region," said Kevin.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Wilkes University, which gave him incentive to operate his own Accounting business. Kevin started his own business out of his home over 10 years ago and his clients continue to grow. With his accounting experience and extended knowledge, the programs at NEPA are successfully budgeted. However, when April comes around, Kevin can appreciate the end of tax season and looks forward to his spare time that allows him to break-a-way on his fishing boat.
Prior to joining NEPA, Kevin was a Sales/Driver for Premium Brands in Wilkes-Barre for sixteen years.
Kevin has two children, Melissa and Christopher and a granddaughter, Samantha. Kevincurrently reside in Glen Lyon, where Kevin just opened his own accounting office.
