NEPA Alliance presents small business loan funds to Susquehanna Brewing Company

SBC Check PresentationNEPA Alliance presents USDA Rural Development and Economic Development Administration (EDA) small business loan funds of $140,000 to Susquehanna Brewing Company (SBC).

Susquehanna Brewing Company received financing from the USDA Rural Development and NEPA-RLF Loan Fund capitalized by the Economic Development Administration to purchase machinery and equipment.  These loan funds are managed by NEPA Alliance in our region.  This funding will allow SBC to expand their business and establish new jobs. These loans were part of an overall funding package that included NEPA Alliance and CAN DO, Inc.

As their name implies, SBC is engaged in the brewing industry.  In May 2012, they introduced their first beers to Northeastern Pennsylvania and began participating in the rapidly growing “craft” segment of the beer industry.
